Write these kind of press releases for results...

One of the best tips I think I can give you is actually the frame of mind to be in when you begin to write a press release.

This is very important because you don't want to sound like a cheap car salesman trying to sell everything under the sun (No offence if you sell cars for a living :). But, as I mentioned in the report, try to write in such a way that makes you sound like a news reporter or journalist. It works!

That's exactly what I did when I wrote the press releases for soap making and dog training -- I wrote those press releases in a frame of mind where I was pretending to be a news reporter - offering an interesting report about something.

Often times the words are already written for you and all you have to do is come up with a good press release by using the 'reporter' method I just mentioned.

What I mean by: "the words are already written.." is the sales copy on a webpage of a product or service, will usually contain all you need for a potentially good press release.

To be more specific on this...let's say you really like the idea of making a few extra bucks a month by promoting affiliate products or your own products through press releases.
The first thing you do is obviously pick or choose a product somewhere, maybe at Clickbank or some other place that you can join for free and choose a few products to start with.

This is all I did with the Dog training press release -- I went to www.clickbank.comand looked around until I found something that I thought had a genuine interest.
Knowing a little about the demand is important too as you want tons of readers!

And in the report you probably noticed that I use a little tool to find how many queries a particular keyword is getting in the search engines. It's free to download and use.
Here's a link to it on my resource site: http://www.nichejournal.com/sat/content.html (First link on the right-hand column - Enjoy!

OK, when you find something you think might draw an audience...quickly check out the sales page and see what the copy is like. A good salespage usually tells a story and many times the headline might even contain a few words you can use for your opening.

This just so happened to be the case with the Dog training ebook. The headline became my opening statement: "Dog Obedience Training in one Evening - Who Would Have Ever Thought" Quite Catchy huh!

I just took the headline from here http://nichejournal.com/dog_training.html and commented on it like I was in disbelief. Drama works like a charm if you use it right and if it calls for it.

In this case, Training a dog in 'ONE' evening qualifies as pretty dramatic. It's either a bunch of hype, or someone has really discovered something unique! Create curiosity in a reader's mind and they'll be powerless to resist clicking through and seeing what it's all about!

I know this email went kinda long but I wanted to point some of this stuff out so you can begin to write the kind of press releases that get results!

In the next day or so, I'll go further on this subject of "the words are already written.."and show you how to craft a press release without hardly writing a word ;)

This is exciting stuff! Stay tuned.

One other thing, did you get a chance to watch that video I created about the software that allows you to send your press releases to multiple sites without having to visit each site individually? Check it out when you get some time...http://nichejournal.com/recommend/pr

All my best
